I’m Dr. Sima Kavand
I'm a board-certified internist, and before moving to the United States, I practiced as a dermatologist in my home country. That unique path has given me a perspective that shapes everything I do today. Throughout my career, I've worked on both sides of a divide that, in my opinion, never should have existed: the physician who manages your overall health and the physician who treats your skin.
So many women spend years caring for everyone else while putting themselves last. Their symptoms are treated one at a time instead of being connected into the bigger picture.
